First of all we would like to welcome you on our website.

We are Peter en Mieke Botden - van den Anker and we live in a small village called Vredepeel in the Netherlands.

All of our lives we have had dogs around us and we could not imagine this being any different. When we started living together in 2003, in Peter’s elderly home, we also inherited Tijger. She was a shelterdog that had a great character and really belonged on the farm.
Mieke was still working in a dog grooming parlor at that time and the owner bred American Cockers. Being a dog groomer you can imagine that you also want a hairy dog to be your own. So not much later we welcomed Amiwoods Jumpin Jack Flash, aka Jack in our home.

In 2007 the dog virus started itching again and because Tijger was getting pretty old, we decided it was time to welcome a new dog to our home. We wanted a big impressive dog with a good character but at the same time would keep unwanted guests away from our home.
As Mieke is a instructor at the regional dog club, KC Venray, she came in contact with Debby Aben, also a instructor, and Marijn Geurts from The Nightshifts Bullmastiff kennel. After visiting their kennel and attending many shows, we were sold. The new dog was going to be a bullmastiff.

After waiting almost a year we welcomed our first bullmastiff, The Nighsthifts Tropical Breeze (Scosha) begin 2008 in our home. Scosha is named after her father Scott and her mother Shana.

Scosha has a fabulous character and is a beautiful representive of the breed. She is doing very well at shows. Thanks to our very good friends Debby and Marijn we also welcomed The Nightshift’s Major Milano in july 2008 in our home.

In February 2009 our kennelname, From the Peacefulgiants was registered by the FCI.

We hope to occasionally breed healthy puppy´s that will have a very social character.

Our dogs are regularly checked by our vet, will have their hips and elbows scored and get a approvement certificate from the BMCN before entering our breeding program.

We are members of the BMCN (Bullmastiff Club Netherlands) and will follow the breeding regulations of the BMCN.
